Compatibility and setup

Connect the DVD player to compatible televisions, projectors and home entertainment equipment using HDMI or composite AV outputs. Full HD output is available through an HDMI connection. An HDMI cable is not included and is sold separately.

The player supports compatible DVD, DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD+RW, CD, CD-R, CD-RW, Picture CD, VCD and SVCD discs. Supported video formats include VOB, AVI and RMVB, while supported audio and image formats include MP3, WAV, WMA and JPG.

USB media playback supports compatible FAT32 USB storage devices with a maximum capacity of 64GB. Playback of compressed media files, including JPG, AVI and other formats, depends on factors such as file size, resolution, frame rate, codec and compression method. Playback results may vary.

The player supports PAL, NTSC and Auto television systems. HDMI audio output supports stereo sound only. References to 5.1 channel output relate to mixed analogue audio output and do not represent true discrete Dolby Digital or DTS 5.1 analogue surround sound.

Place the player on a flat, rigid and stable surface in a well-ventilated location. Leave at least 10cm of space above and behind the unit and 5cm on each side. Do not place the player on carpet or directly above equipment that may generate heat.
