PRO1499WPK Multi-Zone Bluetooth Audio Amplifier Wall Plate Kit – 40W x 2, 5.2G/5.8G Wireless
This wall-plate amplifier kit lets you send high-quality audio wirelessly from one room to another without running speaker cables between them. The transmitter takes Bluetooth or a local line-level source, and the receiver picks up that audio over 5.2GHz or 5.8GHz RF — then both units drive passive speakers directly with a built-in 40W x 2 Class-D amplifier. It's a straightforward way to get synchronized sound in two zones, whether that's a living room and a patio, a shop floor and a back office, or any pair of rooms where you want the same audio playing.
Main Features
- Full CD-quality audio – 24-bit / 48kHz uncompressed digital transmission over the wireless link
- Built-in amplification on both ends – 40W RMS per channel (4 ohm) Class-D amplifier in both the transmitter and receiver, so each unit connects straight to passive speakers
- Selectable 5.2GHz or 5.8GHz RF – choose the band that works best in your environment; the kit ships paired on 5.8GHz by default
- Long wireless range – up to 150 ft (45 m) line of sight; through walls and ceilings expect around 50 ft, so keep that in mind when planning placement
- Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX – stream from phones, tablets, or computers to the transmitter
- Local input on both units – 3.5mm stereo jack on the transmitter and receiver, with local audio taking priority over wireless audio
- Multi-receiver support – one transmitter can feed up to 255 receivers
- Low latency – under 20ms, so audio stays in sync with video sources
- Simple pairing – hold the pairing button on both units for 3 seconds; a solid blue or green LED confirms the link
Detailed Features
Audio Priority
On the transmitter, local audio input overrides Bluetooth audio. On the receiver, local audio input overrides the master audio coming from the transmitter. This makes it easy to drop in a local source — a TV, game console, or media player — without repatching cables.
Bluetooth Indicator (Transmitter)
- Blue LED on 1 sec, off 2 sec, repeating: standby, not connected
- Blue LED flashes every 2 sec: A2DP or HFP connected
- Blue LED flashes twice every 2 sec: A2DP streaming
- Blue LED on 150ms, off 150ms, repeating: pairing mode
RF Pairing and LED Status
- Flashing slowly: not paired
- Flashing quickly: in pairing mode (20-second window)
- Solid blue: 5.8GHz mode (factory default)
- Solid green: 5.2GHz mode
Receiver Master Audio Indicator
The LED is on while master audio from the transmitter is playing, and off otherwise.
Amplifier Protection
The Class-D output stage includes a speaker protection circuit. Minimum load is 4 ohm per channel.

A note on setup: the transmitter and receiver come paired from the factory on 5.8GHz. If you switch bands, or if units get out of sync, press and hold the pairing button on both for 3 seconds — you have a 20-second window to complete pairing, and a solid LED confirms success.
