About The Job 

Since 1935 Radio Parts has always been passionate about electronics. We also have a passion for developing great people. Our fun and diverse team requires a full-time graphic designer/content creator. 

You'll be receiving hands-on training in our extensive range of products, tapping into the knowledge of fellow team members, and participating in regular in-store training sessions led by top industry suppliers. 

We're in search of an enthusiastic graphic designer with strong content creation skills to join our team. If you have a flair for design and an understanding of various social media platforms and a passion to drive and deliver results, then you are the perfect fit! 

In this role, you'll craft sophisticated marketing and advertising material and light-weight video content. 

 

Primary Responsibilities 

  • Being part of a team that maintains Radio Parts social media presence
  • Skilful management of our photo and digital asset repository 
  • Creating content for various media involving website banners, social media, EDMs and in-store signage as well as print media.
  • Proficient videography skills, encompassing shooting and editing for a variety of social media platforms, including marketing pieces and quick-fire product unboxing videos 
  • To be able to work with modern technologies and solutions to build, expand and maintain subscribers across various platforms
  • Active involvement in the management and growth of social media platforms.
  • Work with our purchasing team and suppliers to create content that showcases key brands and products 
  • Incorporating personal character into content to captivate and involve our audience both on web and social media 

Role Requirements 

  • Strong understanding of social media concepts and platforms 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and a strong skill set in copywriting 
  • Proficiency in photography and videography using a range of equipment 
  • Skilful relationship building with key colleagues 
  • Strong level of attention to detail 
  • A pro with the Adobe Creative Cloud suite of products, spanning Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premier Pro, and After Effects. 
  • Experience with platforms like Mailchimp, Google AdWords will be looked upon favourably

Salary  

Based on experience, expect around $55 000 - $65 000 per year + 10.5% Super contribution atop your salary.
