We are looking for a motivated, outgoing sales rep to join our close-knit team. The successful applicant will need to learn quickly, have a strong work ethic, and be able to work independently and as a member of a team.
We have been in the consumer electronics industry for over 85 years and have an established reputation and a loyal customer base. We pride ourselves on our service, level of knowledge and customer care. While experience in a similar role is an advantage, we welcome any applicant that can demonstrate a great work ethic and attitude.
The Role
As an account manager, you will be dealing with existing customers directly. Part of your role is also to expand our customer base and follow up with leads and new opportunities.
Your day-to-day will involve;
- Managing accounts by offering good customer service to maximize overall sales of your region
- Servicing customers by selling products and meeting customer needs
- Servicing existing accounts, obtaining orders, and establishing new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets
- Keeping management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as weekly call reports, work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses
- Monitoring competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products
- Recommending changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments
- Resolving customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management
- Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in events including conferences
The successful applicant should be able to display the following;

Salary and Benefits
This is a full-time Monday to Friday position.
As part of your role you will be provided with a company car (therefore requiring a valid Australian drivers licence), mobile phone and laptop.
Starting salary package will be determined by experience. You will be offered a generous commission plus the current rate of superannuation guarantee (10.5% as of July 1 2022).
If offered the role, the successful candidate will enter a 6 month probationary period. At the end of the probationary period, salary will see a slight increase.
During the probationary period, performance will be monitored on a regular basis. A police check is a requirement if the position is offered.
