GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Retention of Title:

Goods supplied remain the property of Radio Parts Group until full payment is made. Radio Parts Group reserves the right to reclaim the goods from the buyer’s premises if the invoice is not paid by the terms of the contract, nevertheless the goods shall be at the risk of the buyer from the time of delivery.

2. Returns

Radio Parts Group brands - Wintal, Doss, and Pro2 must be sent to our Customer Care Centre at 562 Spencer Street, West Melbourne for under warranty service. Other brands purchased from Radio Parts Group are subject to the warranty terms of the manufacturers or Importers of these products. Refer to the radioparts.com.au service page for a list of manufacturers or Importers and their service centre locations and warranty terms.

To claim service under warranty:

The product must be returned with proof of purchase within the warranty period, it must be in original condition, not modified or mistreated in any way and it must not have been serviced elsewhere.

To claim replacement:

Replacement of new products that are damaged on delivery, or faulty from new requires a proof of purchase by the operator of the product, it must be within 14 days of purchase date, and be in original condition with undamaged packaging and be returned with all accessories included.

To claim a credit or refund:

Incorrectly supplied products will be credited when goods are returned. Credit authorization requires notification of credit claim within 7 days of delivery.

Credit for products not required:

Goods supplied that have been incorrectly ordered or are not required by the customer may, at Radio Parts discretion be credited less a 20% restocking fee.

Procedure for returning products:

The Radio Parts web site offers an on-line facility where customers can enter the details of the product and the service required, the completed form is reviewed by Customer Care who email or fax your RA number. This unique number is used to trace your product from when you send it to us until we return it to you.
The RA number should be printed on the outside of the carton, which you can deliver or send freight prepaid to our Customer care centre.
When your product arrives at Radio Parts it is entered into the computer as goods received .
The Service Centre aims to service and return products within 14 (fourteen) days. Products serviced and dispatched to you are entered as completed.
After the product is serviced it is bench tested and a report of the work done is included that confirms the product has been checked and is in proper working order.
Your product is returned to you with Radio Parts Customer service prepaying the return freight cost.
Our service centre is staffed by qualified technicians who have experience in servicing our range of products, in many cases a serviced item can be superior to a new unit as our service technicians will upgrade products with higher spec. components if this modification improves the performance and reliability of the product.

3. Cancellation of Orders

Cancellation of orders will not be accepted unless by prior agreement, and then on terms that will compensate Radio Parts Group for the cost of cancellation.

4. Minimum Order Values:

Orders to be delivered - $20.00 (Inc. GST, plus freight)
Overseas Orders to be delivered - $250.00 (plus freight)
Showroom Invoices - $5.50 (inc. GST)

5. Special Orders:

Special orders are goods specially bought in on customers request. Special orders consist of:

  1. Non stock items - $50.00 minimum value per line item
    (Note: Delays may occur due to suppliers minimum order value)
  2. Orders for bulk quantities - require customer acceptance of price, and estimated delivery date. If the total price exceeds the customers credit limit, payment upon order is required.

After acceptance of the quote by the customer Special Orders cannot be cancelled or the goods returned unless the Radio Parts supplier agrees to order cancellation and return of the goods.

6. Backorders:

The unsupplied items on an order will be automatically backordered if the line item exceeds $5.00, unless the customer stipulates “no backorders”.
The balances of orders will normally be dispatched freight free unless;
(a) The entire order is backordered, in this case freight will be charged when
the backorder is sent.
(b) In the opinion of Radio Parts Group, the freight cost on the backordered
portion of the order is substantial, in this case the full freight will be
charged up front, and the backorder will be sent freight paid.

7. Freight:

Prices quoted are ex-Store and delivery costs are payable by the purchaser. Radio Parts has negotiated freight rates with transport companies that are economical and reliable, unless otherwise instructed Radio Parts will automatically despatch orders through these selected transport companies.
Customers with specific carrier choice and special delivery instructions must clearly state these on orders.

Transport methods include:

  • Road Freight (Australia Wide) see rates below
  • Post (up to 5kg)
  • Overnight ‘Airbag’ service (Capital cities only, up to 5kg)
  • Courier (Urgent only, up to 25kg, Melbourne Metro)

Overseas Account Customers:

Freight is prepaid by us and charged to your account. (Check your invoice for actual freight charge).

Mail Order Customers:

Freight is included in payment, and itemised on invoice.
Radio Parts Group delivers goods via road freight to all destinations in Australia. This method will automatically be selected unless you choose another method.

Road Freight charges:

  • Up to 5kg: $10 (inc. GST)
  • 5kg to 15kg: $15 (inc. GST)
  • 15kg or more: $1.00 per Kg (inc. GST)

Melbourne Metropolitan Customers:

All orders over the value of $100 ex. GST will be dispatched free of freight charges for next day delivery to Melbourne destinations.
Melbourne destinations are defined using our chosen freight forwarder, Victoria Express’ system. To see if your location is covered, use the updated list provided on the Radio Parts web site - www.radioparts.com.au

8. Liability

Radio Parts Group makes no warranty or guarantee regarding the suitability or replaceability of its products for any particular purpose, nor does Radio Parts Group assume any liability arising from the application or use of any product, including consequential or incidental damage or injury. All operating parameters must be validated by the customers technical experts.

9. Privacy Policy:

Radio Parts Group collect only information from suppliers and customers that is necessary to adequately conduct business. Credit information for accounts 60 days or more overdue may be disclosed to a credit reporting agency. We do not use any personal information we have collected for any other purpose without seeking the individuals consent first.
